My Story

Hey there,
I'm Taryn
And like many, my sex education in school was mostly scare tactics—gory STI images, warnings about pregnancy, and a brief mention of contraception. But no one talked about pleasure, desire, or how to actually navigate intimacy with another person.

So, I pieced things together from society, the media, and whispered conversations with friends. And what I picked up wasn’t exactly helpful.

I internalized messages that left me stuck in my head during sex:

Do I smell okay?
Do I look okay?
Am I normal down there?
Am I taking too long?
Is he enjoying himself?
He’s not quite hitting the spot, but I don’t want to offend him.
Will I orgasm?

How was I supposed to feel turned on and present in my body
when my mind was running a mile a minute?

Spoiler: I didn’t.

And then there was the whole "good girl" messaging layered on top.

âš¡ Be sexy, but not slutty.
âš¡ Be experienced, but not too experienced.
âš¡ Be desirable, but don’t ask for what you want.
âš¡ Be the giver, the pleaser, the one who makes him feel good.

Enter performance over pleasure.
Maybe you’ve felt this way too?

Like you were missing out on the incredible sex everyone else was having.

I Was Done Feeling That Way!

By my early thirties—and after a few breakups—I had reached my limit.
I was done with:

Ghosting
Shitty communication
Coercion disguised as seduction
Prioritizing everyone else’s needs over my own
Keeping quiet in the bedroom
Barely knowing what my boundaries were
Enduring sex that never truly prioritized my pleasure

At some point, I realized the problem wasn’t the people I was interacting with.
It was a lack of tools and education—on my part and theirs.
We live in a world that teaches us how to be engineers, accountants, and scientists but completely skips over the skills we need to actually be human—how to communicate, set boundaries, experience pleasure, and build intimacy.

And I wanted to change that.

My Transformation: From Struggle to Pleasure

Now, don’t get me wrong—those years weren’t all bad. I had fun. I had pleasure.
But I was tired of the moments that were challenging and had no idea how to make them better.
So, I started asking myself:

What role do I play in this?
What is my responsibility, and what is theirs?
What do I actually WANT from my intimate life?

To find my answers, I immersed myself in this work. I attended women’s circles, explored healing modalities, joined sexuality retreats, and devoured everything I could on sex and intimacy.
And what I discovered changed everything.

I learned how to truly feel my body—not just be in my head about it.
I uncovered my patterns and learned how to shift them.
I stopped waiting for someone else to ‘unlock’ my pleasure—I took ownership of it.
I found confidence in my desires and my ability to express them.
I let go of body shame and deepened my self-love.
I filled my toolbox with actual, practical tools that work.
AND…
I experienced full-body, multiple, and energetic orgasms!!

No wonder people started telling me I was glowing!

Why I Do This Work

After experiencing such a profound transformation, I knew I couldn’t keep this to myself.
I became a certified sex and relationship coach through the Somatica® Institute because I wanted to create the space I had been desperately craving—one where:

✨ Talking about bodies and sex is normal.
✨ Pleasure is something to celebrate, not be ashamed of.
✨ We explore both the joy and the challenges of intimacy—with actual tools that make a difference.

Now, I help clients navigate the complexity of intimacy.
Because intimacy is a learned skill—not something you’re magically born knowing how to do.
If you’ve ever struggled, it’s not your fault.

It’s the result of:

Poor sex education
Societal, cultural, and family conditioning
Misinformation from the media & marketing
A culture of shame for our sexual desires
A world that avoids talking about these things and hopes we just figure it out

But you don’t have to figure it out alone.

I’m here to help you find your own answers—so you can move from frustration to fulfillment, from pressure to pleasure, from feeling stuck to feeling ALIVE.
Are you ready?
